 Joseph was the sixth child and third son born to Joseph and Ann Dupong.
He was born 15 November 1873 at 7:15 p.m. in Greenock, Scotland.
Joseph was born at 3 West Stewart Street in Greenock, Scotland. His father Joseph was not present at his birth so his mother's mark
was witnessed by the Assistant Registrar Robert A. Duncan.
In 1881 Joseph was living with his parents at 14 Boat Vennell, Ayr, Scotland.
Joe married Margaret and they had one son: Craig (born abt.1910). Margaret died about 1920 and Joe later married Sara.
Craig married and had three children: Joe (b. abt. 1933), Margaret (b. abt. 1935) and Donald (b. abt 1937).
