Born May 2 1937 in Notre Dame Hospital, Montréal, Québec.
Eldest child of William Charles Scott and Jemima Broach Campbell.

Eleanor moved to Lorne Park (now part of Mississauga), Ontario with her mother, father, brother and sister in December of 1952.

"Eleanor married John Michael (Jack) O'Hara on February 8, 1958. Eleanor and Jack had three children: Bryan Michael , Brenda Catherine and Kellie Anne.

I am sure that there are lots of good memories that Eleanor has growing up in Rawdon with her cousins Doreen, Louise and Dorothy. After moving to Lorne Park, Eleanor continued her education at Port Credit High School. Upon completion of high school, Eleanor chose a career in Banking. It wasn't long after she started working that she met her husband-to-be, John (Jack) O'Hara. They married on February 8, 1958 and had three children, Bryan Michael, Brenda Catherine and Kellie Ann. Tragically their son Bryan was taken from them on May 30, 1975. The courage and strength they have both shown over the years is truly an inspiration to their family and friends. In 1989, when her youngest daughter Kellie married Derek Reid, Eleanor did not hesitate in opening up her heart and love for the newest member of her family.

Eleanor today is surrounded by many dear friends and family that are very important to her. She has involved herself with the Bridge Club for over twenty years now and they are still going. Eleanor enjoys golfing, swimming, dining out and attending the latest plays in and around Toronto.

Eleanor opens her house to family and friends, a fabulous trait she received from her mother. Her open hospitality and warmth are just some of the traits which endears her to her family and friends.

Now that Jack is retired from the Toronto Fire Department maybe they will start to do some world travelling!

What can we say about our mother...she has always been there supporting or helping us in achieving whatever we are striving for. Family has always been very important to Mom and that is a trait that we both hope to learn from her. We can only hope that we have the ability in us to learn enough from her about being warm, supporting and loving of family and friends as she has been with hers. Thanks mom and we love you dearly!
