Barbara Ann passed away peacefully at Tillsonburg Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She is survived by her partner Alan Hollywell of PortBurwell. Devoted mother to her 3 children: Stephanie Allen and her partner Jocelyn of Toronto; Glenn Allen and his partner Janet of Port Burwell and Brent Allen of Dunblane, Scotland. Loving step-grandmother to Julia and Elgin Meechan. Daughter ofthe late Jemima (Campbell) and William C. Scott. Sister of Eleanor O'Hara and her husband Jack of Toronto and the late William ''Bill'' Scott. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews: Willie, Brenda, Nancy, Kellie, Sherree, David, Shane and the late Bryan, also her great-nieces and nephews: Lisa, David Jr., Brian, Kyle, Cassandra, MacKenzie and great-great-nephew Jacob. She loved and was loved by many cousins, friends and extended family. Thank you Lorna and Honor for your devotionand friendship. Barbara Ann was dedicated to her family. She connected the family from around the world through her lifelong passion for genealogical research and preserving family history. Barbara Ann also loved her dogs. She will be missed byBrodie and Haines. Barbara Ann is resting at the funeral home of Skinner & Middlebrook Ltd., 128 Lakeshore Rd. E. (1 block west of Hurontario St.), Mississauga (parking off Ann St.) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. She will be interred with her parents in Springcreek Cemetery (Mississauga) at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the London Regional Cancer Centre or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
