Born April 18, 1910 in Greenock Scotland.
Died March 14, 1979 in Rawdon Quebec.
Son of Elizabeth Logan and Hugh Dupong Scott.

He emigrated to Canada from Scotland in July 1918.

He married Noella (Ella) Daoust in September of 1934 and they had eight children: Beth, Gordon, Doreen, Ronnie, Beverley, Bruce, Esther and Wendy.

John was a man of many trades and brought many different business ventures to Rawdon, Quebec: oil delivery, milk and bread business and he was also a butcher.

During World War II, he served in the Canadian Army and he had the privilege of being the first president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 198, Rawdon, Quebec.

He was known by everyone for his storytelling his fantastic memory gave him the edge in most situations but it could also get him in trouble occasionally!!!!!

He passed away in March 1979, and is laid to rest at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Rawdon, Quebec.......
