 Well the planning is well underway. The biggest challenge now is collecting money from everyone! As in the past payment must be received prior to the reunion, this time the cut off is June 30th.
You will have three options for payments; mail a cheque, email transfer or PayPal. Please note for PayPal you will need to send your form in and then you will receive an email for payment.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
- This email is being sent to the designated person in each family. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of your family members know the details of the reunion. If you wish you can forward this on to your family members and they can complete the attached form and make their own payment, but please keep in mind we will only be contacting you about the reunion and follow up.
- Please note that a form must be filled out for each family with FULL names (especially last names), ages for the kids are a MUST, T-shirt size and meal choice (only for those 13 & up).
- For Saturday’s Games and BBQ if you have some lawn chairs please bring them with you. If you have extras bring them too as the out-of-towners won’t have their lawn chairs with them.
- There are some family members that I have not been able to reach (no contact information) or have never heard back from. If you can reach out to the people it would be appreciated I don’t want anyone to be left out!

We have people who have stepped up and take charge of the events for this Reunion, which is GREAT! The biggest supporters and planners are Ben and Jamie Scott. They have taken over a good portion of the events for the Reunion weekend.

Just a quick note to let you all know in the next week or so I will be sending out the details for payment and some details for the reunion.

Payment for the reunion will be required by June 30th, we can only confirm everything once we have payment from everyone because will determine the exact budget. Costs were based on the initial response received about the reunion, if the number decreases cost will go up.

Hi All,
First let me wish all of you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2009!
So the planning of the 2009 Scott Family Reunion is underway. We do still have time for more ideas if you have any! This time around we seem to have a few people volunteering to help but we still need more! This is just a short email to get you some of the basic information. I will send out a more detailed email in the New Year.
Ben & Jamie Scott are coordinating the efforts and enlisting help from the family in Rawdon for the events on the Reunion weekend so they are calling on family members to help out! Please feel free to contact them if you are willing and able to help! You can email

Hi All,
We have received a fairly good response, hopefully the numbers will go even higher in the New Year, as there are still lots of people we never heard from! We are working on costing and the planning now ... so speak up if there is anything you want to see at the next reunion!
We are still going to need help with lots of things that weekend so don't be shy ... help out!

This site is still in progress. There are still many photos to be moved from the old site and content to be developed. Please consider submitting photos, news and bios for your branch of the Scott Family!
Welcome to the newly refurbished Scott Family Web site. This new web system will allow users to submit their own news on the web site, as well as continue the general gossip, rumours and chit chat in the Scott family forums.
For those with profiles in the old forum, the user names and passwords should work. If not, I may have had to re-set it, so let me know and I will re-set it. It is preferred that your password be re-set, rather than create a new account to ensure that you are linked to all of your old forum postings.
